Marker by Robin Cook is a wonderfully written thriller that I enjoyed first page to the last, and mind you there are over 555 pages.
Deep background and murky one — New York City medical examiners and the morgue is where everything happens from love/hate, hope/misery, death/birth and tantalizing episodes of human emotion between Laurie Montgomery and Jack Stapleton.
As similar deaths mount up, all fishy and mysterious, of young healthy people just out of common surgery, there is a big sinister plot of many a possibility that keeps you gripped until the end.
Get this. Read it. Fall in love with Cook all over again.
